We're doing more with mortgages.
And you can have a hand in it.

Introducing Our Giving Program, Lend A Hand.

Purchasing a new home is an incredible achievement. So is making a difference in the lives of others. With our giving program, you can do both. Mortgage Lenders of America's Lend A Hand is based on a simple yet powerful truth: the more of us that pitch in, the greater the impact we can make. And a stronger community makes that new home all the sweeter.

The Lend A Hand program supports three charities—Fisher House™ Foundation, Habitat For Humanity®, and Make-A-Wish®—in the following ways:

Your Loan, Your Choice

With each funded mortgage loan, we provide a donation to one of our selected charities through Lend A Hand. Simply tell us which charity you'd like to receive the contribution, and we'll take it from there. If you're in the market for a house, get started with a Pre-Approval. You'll be on your way to a new home, and an opportunity to give back to the community.

Dirty Hands Day

Nothing beats rolling up the sleeves and getting your hands dirty for a great cause. So, once a quarter, a group of us from Mortgage Lenders of America meet up and pitch in for one of the charities.

Waging Kindness

Those of us who work for Mortgage Lenders of America have launched an optional Lend A Hand employee contribution program. With this program, employees can set up an automatic payroll deduction to support any of the charities. Employees choose which charitable programs they want to support and how much they want deducted each pay period.

More Goodness

You can also provide direct financial support for these charities by giving or fundraising. Click a link for more information.

When the program was rolled out, it may sound silly, but it was such a “warm fuzzy” to know that I was working for a company that cared enough to step up and support a variety of charities. And more than that, they also made it really easy for me to get involved, too, on whatever level I felt comfortable.
